Dave Mounsey was born in October of 1956 in England. Dave joined the Royal Air Force and served throughout Europe. Dave left the RAF and moved to Canada where he began working as a Corrections Officer in Ontario.
Dave then went on to join the Ontario Provincial Police in 1998. During his career with the OPP, Dave trained to become a successful Crisis Negotiator. Dave was also a volunteer Fire Fighter with the Blyth Fire Department. He was instrumental in raising the funds for a new defibrillator.
On October 14th, 2006 Dave was responding to a call in Huron County when he was involved in a collision. Dave was hospitalized until November 13th, 2006 where passed away as a result of his injuries.
He is forever missed...

Defibrillator Donation
On the 25th of October 2009 a Defibrillator was donated to the Blyth Theater in the memory of Dave Mounsey.
