Michael Van Sickle is the Deputy Chief of the Sarnia Police Service, with over 20 years of experience in law enforcement and community service.
After helping with three defibrillator donations through the Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund, he’s (somehow) found himself roped into Dancing with the 911 Stars. Despite his best efforts to dodge the spotlight, his rubber arm was twisted. Unfortunately, the rest of his body is about as flexible as a utility pole — and moves just as gracefully. Michael openly admits he has no rhythm, no coordination, and no idea what he’s doing on a dance floor. Thankfully, he’ll be guided (and likely carried) by his talented wife Christine. He’s looking forward to a fun night, a few laughs, and supporting a phenomenal cause. |
Christine Van Sickle has been a dedicated paramedic with Lambton EMS for over 20 years. Through her career, she’s seen firsthand just how critical defibrillators are in saving lives — and has witnessed their successful use on numerous occasions.
When her husband asked her to join him for Dancing with the 911 Stars, she had a brief moment of weakness and said yes. Now there’s no turning back. While she may not have expected to find herself on a stage in dancing shoes, Christine is looking forward to a fun night alongside the other brave participants and all the wonderful guests supporting this great cause. |
