Crystal Clackett

​​Crystal is a graduate of the Quinte Ballet School of Canada, where she began her professional training at age 15. Alongside her full-time studies, she spent many summers attending renowned school and received offers from Boston Ballet School, Okanagan Summer Dance Intensive, Gelsey Kirkland Academy (NY), Alberta Ballet School, and The Royal Winnipeg Ballet (Company) Aspirant Program.

In her graduating year, Crystal was invited to compete in both classical and contemporary solo categories at the Vancliffen Arts International Ballet Competition in Italy, a week-long competition for professional ballet students where she was awarded a full scholarship for continued study. She later returned to Italy to perform with the Pavlova International Ballet Company and in local operas, with highlights including Corsair, La Gioconda, and Così fan tutte.

Upon returning to Canada, Crystal performed as a soloist and corps member in Toronto International Ballet Theatre’s Nutcracker, while continuing her Vaganova training to complement her strong RAD and Cecchetti backgrounds. Though ballet forever remains closest to her heart, she has also trained extensively in other styles—her favourites include Tap, Jazz, and Contemporary—and she has been a passionate educator and choreographer in the London and surrounding area for over a decade.
