Jeanine Henderson-Kitching

If you've ever met Jeanine Henderson-Kitching, you've probably felt her energy before you've

even learned her name.

Dance educator. Studio Owner. Choreographer. Adjudicator. Lifelong learner.

Jeanine has built her career around one simple belief: dance has the power to show people not

only what they can do, but who they are capable of becoming.

Since opening Infinity Dance in Stratford, Ontario, in 2011, Jeanine has created a studio where

dancers of every age and ability feel welcomed, challenged, encouraged, and celebrated. Her

classes are built on excellent training, high standards, lots of laughter, and an unwavering belief

that joy belongs in every dance class. Under her leadership, Infinity Dance received the City of

Stratford Accessibility Award in recognition of its commitment to making exceptional dance

education accessible to disabled and neurodivergent dancers.

Ask anyone who knows Jeanine and they'll tell you she never comes home from a conference

without pages of notes, a notebook full of ideas, and enough excitement to fuel an entire dance

season. She lives by one simple philosophy: the best teachers never stop learning. Whether

she's studying with world-renowned educators, earning another certification, or exchanging

ideas with fellow teachers, she's always searching for better ways to inspire the dancers who

trust her with their dreams.

Jeanine is a certified dance educator across four internationally recognized syllabi. She is a

certified examiner and educator in Ballet, Jazz, and Tap with Dance Masters of America through

Dance Masters of Canada (Chapter 38), a certified Ballet educator with International Dance Arts

(IDA), a certified Jazz and Tap educator with ADAPT, where she received the Outstanding

Teacher Award for Microteaching, and a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor in Levels 1, 2, and

Preschool Acro.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from The University of Western Ontario, paying her

own way through university by working in an automotive manufacturing plant. That

determination, curiosity, and work ethic continue to shape everything she does.

Jeanine is regularly invited to adjudicate competitions across Canada and internationally. Her

judging reflects the teacher she is every day: honest, educational, encouraging, and full of heart.

She celebrates technical excellence, but she also celebrates courage, creativity, resilience,

teamwork, and joy because she knows those are the qualities that stay with dancers long after

the trophies have been packed away. Her greatest hope is that every performer leaves the

stage feeling seen, inspired, and excited to keep growing.

Whether she's dancing in circles with toddlers, celebrating breakthroughs with recreational

dancers, coaching competitive performers toward their biggest goals, mentoring fellow

educators, or sitting behind the adjudicator's table, Jeanine's purpose is always the same: to

help people discover more confidence, more possibility, and a little more joy than they had when

they walked through the door.

Long after the music ends, Jeanine hopes every dancer remembers how dance made them feel,

and carries that joy into every part of their life.
