Passed away peacefully in his family's arms on Monday, September 14th, 2009 at Victoria Hospital, London, in his 62nd year after a courageous battle with leukemia. Beloved husband and best friend of Dale (Camp) Willis for 39 years. Cherished father of Kim (Mike), Mark (Stacy), and Matt (Jill). Special grandpa "Pa" to Caitlin, Cody, Austin, Brycen and Courtney. Dear brother of Tom Willis (Dorothy) and brother-in-law to Dawn Skinner (Tim), Norman Camp (Lynda) and Susan Willis. Best buddy to Holly. He will be forever missed by several nieces, nephews and many friends. Don retired as a Captain of the London Fire Department in November 2007 after 32 years of service. 

27th DMMF Donation - 11th May 2013

On the 26th of April 2014 the donated defibrillator in the name of Fire Cpt. Willis was used to successfully save a life.

On the 2nd of December 2016 the donated defibrillator in the name of Fire Cpt. Williw was again used to successfully save a life.
